Saim Ayub has more wickets than runs
The Pakistani opener now has 3 consecutive ducks?!
Some say it is luck, while others say it is due to a lack of effort!
For someone who has gotten out for three consecutive ducks, like Pakistan’s Saim Ayub in the ongoing Asia Cup, I guess it was great bowling and some luck too?
Oman’s Faisal Shah wrapped him on his back pads with a low, length delivery but against India and UAE, he had soft dismissals when his attempted cuts landed him in trouble, either at point or thirdman.
The result was the same: a duck, which led to a horrible start for his team.
Whilst Saim Ayub may not have scored a single run so far, he has picked up 5 wickets so far.
I have a prediction that he will not play in the Super Fours as an opener, but as a bowler!
Honestly, whilst Pakistan did win comfortably against the UAE, I do not think this team has deserved a slot in the Super Fours.
Saim definitely has some great skills, and he needs to find a way to not get out so fast or else his team will not be too happy.
Lets see how he performs against India in the Super Fours!
